There is a synthesis gumbo in the engine of Absynth. That’s not to say you can’t get some aggressive and harsh sounds out of it, but for me…it’s uniqueness is in the smooth, evolving, “floating” textures you can create. There is something about the “texture” of the sounds that come out of it…they seem to sorta…float. There are quite a few synths out here available for use, but I am always on the lookout for something that provides a unique angle.Ībsynth has a sound that I can’t quite get from anything else I’ve tried.
